Obituary of Robert Allan Ball

At Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Robert (Bob) Allan Ball in his 80th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara (1996). Loving father of Tom & Vicky of New York, Richard & Alison of Waterloo and Heather & John Appleton of London. Dear Grandpa of Siobhan, Christopher, Sarah, Grandpa Bob to Trilby, Seamus and Daisy and Bobbo to Elizabeth, Penny, Peter and Stephen. He will be sadly missed by cousins and many dear friends here in London area, in Howdenvale, ON and Sanibel Island, Florida. Bob was known for his hospitality and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed 20 years of retirement after working 30 years with the Post Office. Family & friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service which will take place in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010, followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
