Obituary
Obituary of Muriel Elizabeth "Mo" Cochrane (Ross)
Died peacefully at home in London, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, of complications from lung disease. She was 89. She is survived by her children Madeleine MacLean (Nova Scotia), Gord Cochrane (London), Cathy Keim (San Diego), Allen Cochrane (San Diego) and Jean Cochrane (Los Angeles).
Also her brother Frank Ross (Dartmouth, N.S.), sister Patricia Sapp (Ottawa) and sister Catherine Phillips (Courtenay, B.C.).
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Cochrane, daughter Anne McClatchey and her brother Allen Ross and her parents Guy & Muriel Ross.
"Mo" was eldest sibling of the Ross clan of Dartmouth, N.S., and quite the piano player growing up and as an adult. She loved classical music and good wines, moved to London in later years and retired to San Diego where she spent her happiest times for many years.
Unfortunately health problems ended her time there. She was loved very dearly by family and good friends and will be sorely missed.
There will be no visitation but after cremation a funeral mass will be said at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 2:30 pm.
Expressions of condolence may be sent to the Lung Association. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca. Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, (519) 433-6181, entrusted with arrangements
