Peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in her 76 th year. Wife of the late Peter Barry Samways. Beloved mother of Sharon Rivard & her husband Dean, Brenda McKenna & the late Peter Jr. Loving grandma to Stephanie Firman, Lindsay Grahame, Kyle McKenna and John Rochon. Nana BooBoo to Katelynn Firman, Haileigh Firman and Caleb McKenna. Dear sister of Ernie, Robert, Joan (deceased), Patricia, Colleen and Tricia and sister-in-law of Marie Davies & her husband Wayne. Betty will be missed by many nieces & nephews as well as the Rafuse family who loved and raised her. Funeral service will be conducted at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
