Obituary of Zbigniew "Ziggy" Michalczyk
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Zbigniew "Ziggy" Michalczyk announces his passing on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital at the age of 41.
Beloved husband of Laura Michalczyk. Loving son of Wanda & Adam Moron. Dear brother of Tommy Michalczyk. Forever in the hearts of his aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Deeply missed by his K-9 companion Kobe. Ziggy loved basketball and the Lakers and named his dog after his favourite player Kobe Bryant.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 9:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. A time of sharing memories & eulogies will take place in the Logan Chapel from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Catholic Church, 419 Hill Street, London, Ontario at 1:00 p.m.
Interment of ashes in St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association in memory of Ziggy.
