Obituary of Beth MacLachlan

On Monday, December 22, 2008 Mary Elizabeth MacLachlan of London. Beloved wife of the late Captain (N) Archie MacLachlan. Loving mother of Ann Evans of Toronto. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews, greats and great greats in Canada and the United States. Beth was a lifetime member of Metropolitan Church, the church of her parents Joseph and Annie Harkness since 1901. Beth gave generously of herself to friends, family and community. Her selfless, happy spirit was remarkable. She was one feisty lady and remained impressively independent until the last. Beth was a graciously kind, giving person and will be deeply missed by her many friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington St., London, on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 1 … 2 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Ripley officiating. Reception to follow at the church. Logan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements 519-433-6181.
