Obituary of Brenda DeForest

Suddenly at Parkwood Hospital after a short but brave battle with cancer on Thursday, November 15th, 2012, Brenda Darlene DeForest (nee Doerkson-Killby) in her 61st year. Loving wife of Bill of 42 years. Cherished mother of David (Alanna), Bill (Catherine) and Michael. Nana of Drew, Joshua, Faith and Jack. Dear sister of Gary Doerkson (Linda). Predeceased by her parents John and Hazel Doerkson (nee Killby) and sister Karen Ramey (2004). Aunt to many nieces and nephews and held dear by her extended family. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 between 4-6 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date.
