Obituary of Bill Makrakos

Peacefully in Greece on Monday, July 14, 2014 Bill Makrakos of London in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Kay Makrakos. Loving father of Maria (Dave) Finnis, Toula (Nick) Zervos, Helen Makrakos (Chuck) and Angie Makrakos. Cherished grandfather of Robbie, Michael, Tina, Nicole and Nicholas. Dear brother of Jim (Koula), Tony (Roula) and Angela Pilias all of London and Fanio Valkanas of Greece and the late Theodore of Greece and their families. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Wednesday, July 23rd from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will be appreciated by the family.
