Obituary of Evangelos "Angelo" Stavrou

Peacefully, at home with family by his side, on Monday, January 28, 2019, Angelo passed away in his 75th year. Loving husband of Julie for 51 years and father of Roula Dereza (Tien Tran), Georgia Stavrou, Helen (Joe) Strano & Tom (Krista) Stavrou. Cherished Papou of Angelo Dereza, Xristo & Laila Stavrou, and Giuliana & Sophia Strano. Angelo is the longtime owner of Merla Mae Ice Cream. Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9pm (Prayers at 8pm). Funeral service will be conducted in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, would be appreciated by the family.
