Obituary of Evelyn Elizabeth Hinds

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 27, 2019 at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Evelyn passed away in her 95th year. Loving "Mum" of Dorothy, Ronnie (Gail), Patricia (Murray), David (2015) (Pam), Carol (Bob), Ellen (2015) (Derrick), Evelyn (Bill 2018) & Steven (Collette). Cherished "Nan" of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. Everyone loved Nan. She was the life of the party and a strong, hardworking woman who was sweet as pie but very outspoken and would be honest with you if you needed to be told! Evelyn loved her Tetley Tea & biscuits, crossword puzzles, but the most important thing to her was the love of her family. Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Logan Chapel on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held in the Logan Funeral Home reception suite following the interment. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
