Obituary of Wayne Hughes

Peacefully, at Parkwood Institute, on Friday, March 22, 2019, Wayne Hughes in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Maxine Hughes (Mellin) (2018) for 50 years. Loving father of Mike & Sheri Hughes. Cherished grandfather of Alicia (Jamie) & Faith (Nic) and great-grandfather of Ethan & Hayden. Dear brother-in-law of Everett (Wendy) Mellin, and uncle of Todd (Mel) Mellin & their children Dana & Craig. Predeceased by his parents Harold & Velma Hughes and sister Marlene (Tom) Heffernan. Wayne was the longtime owner of Southwestern Appraisal. Very special thank you to Jim & Rose Squires for the longtime friendship and care they gave to Wayne & Maxine for many years. Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 6-9pm.
