Obituary of Rejeanne Liabotis
On June 13, 2019,at the age of 80, Rejeanne passed away after her long and courageous fight with cancer and its complications. She died peacefully with her husband and her sons by her bedside. She was born in Cornwall, Ontario on May 4, 1939.
Rejeanne will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, Nana and friend. She always had a positive outlook on life, even during recent difficult times when she remained strong and battled right to the end. Her bright glow and pleasant demeanour brought a smile to everyone’s face. Rejeanne had numerous friends who she often got together with for various activities. She was an avid reader and a frequent traveller. She especially enjoyed trips to New York City and Bermuda where she would visit her sons, their wives and, later, her four grandchildren. Family always came first to Rejeanne and each family member was always treated to her unconditional love and support. She had a great sense of humour and supported family and friends’ endeavours. She savoured their success.
Besides her loving husband of 53years, Jim, Rejeanne is survived by her sons Peter (Elizabeth) and Dean (Sylvia), grandchildren Mark, James, Sophia and John, brothers Don (Denise), Roger (Mary), and Marcel (Susan) and nieces and nephews Kathy, Karen, Paul, Mark, Emily, Alain, Peter and Stephanie plus numerous relatives in Quebec and Ontario.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to family and friends who provided endless support through visits, cards and phone calls of support to Rejeanne.
