Ed: You were truly a joy to be with. I will miss your laugh and shared happiness. I cannot express to your family how much you effected those who worked with you. I will remember Sault Ste Marie and Sudbury Hearings the most. You gave me the opportunity to meet Maureen and the both of you together made me feel welcomed. You were a family person no doubt about it and have left a big hole that no one will fill. You will be truly missed but not forgotten. Rhonda

Even though I hadnt seen Ed in a few years, I remember fondly the time we spent working together at Canada Post. With Ed every day was an adventure and you never what was going to happen. He will surely be missed by those of us that had pleasure of knowing him. My deepest condolences to his family.

To the family of Edward Hepburn, I wish to express my condolences for Eds passing. I and my partner were assisting him with his application for the class action suit. However, he passed away before we could finish it. I also served in the Canadian military and I wanted to say thank you to Ed and now you his family for his service for his country. He was not treated well by our military but he deserves respect and thanks. In kindness and sadness. Lynne & Carmen

He frequently shared his personal photos with me and spoke about all of his family so I feel that I know all of you. I will never forget Ed and I know that he will be watching from above... I lived two houses south of Eddie and Ronnie on Claude St. in Wiarton when they were little. My father was Ewart Skene. I connected with Ed about 10 years ago by email and we often send messages back and forth mostly about Family Tree information. He was a very nice man and I enjoyed being friends with him. He often told me about the plays he was involved with and we had many interesting discussions. His address changed and I could no longer contact him a few years ago. I missed the conversations. He was a very kind, funny man and I am sure his family will really miss him.

An amazing man with a quick and witty sense of humour. I knew Ed through the National Bank of Canada when he worked at WSIB. He was always a ray of sunshine when he walked in to the bank and when we saw him we knew we were going to have a good laugh. When I found out he was Gary's brother after becoming friends with Ollie we reconnected at the Dawghouse. Same old Ed! The most beautiful blue eyes ever! The world has lost a great man but your spirit will live on Ed. God speed my friend.

Dear friend from our days together at Camp Borden until reconnecting in Palm Springs two short years ago you have been a kind, gentle and full of life friend whose time has always been cherished. I miss you. To Ed's family as we spoke regularily over messenger it was always about you and how much he loved and cared for each of you. Always a sparkle in his eye and up for a good laugh. RIP
