Obituary of Paul John Politis
Surrounded by his family on Friday, February 18, 2022, Paul John Politis went home to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, children John (Joanne), Tina (Deno), Peter (Lynda), Nick and Paul Jr., 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was born in Thouria, Kalamata, Greece where his legacy of survival began. Having survived WWII and German occupation, he married the love of his life, Maria, and they began their family. Seeking a better life for his family, he immigrated to the United States in 1956 to prepare a place for them to settle. Unwilling to endure the longer immigration process in the United States, he immigrated to Canada where he received his family and settled in London, Ontario. Through the years he worked hard for his family, loved life and people.
He is well known and loved in his community and will be sorely missed. He ran the race and fought the good fight, and it's time for him to receive his crown of peace and the joy of the Lord. May his memory be eternal.
Private family service will be held. Donations can be made to Children's Health Foundation, LHSC. Arrangements entrusted to Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (519-433-6181).Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
