Obituary
Obituary of Karen Stewart (nee Brooks of London)
Karen 78, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023. She looked forward to joining her beloved husband Jack Stewart (2010), her parents Lillian and Walter Brooks, her five sisters and two brothers. Sadly, she had to leave her caring son Michael Stewart (Sally Matthews) and her two delightful granddaughters, Jacqueline and Lauren.
Words could never express the joy and fulfillment her granddaughters brought to her life every single day. Karen so enjoyed being an active part of their daily activities. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their children. Karen was an active, lifelong care giver for her special younger sister Sandra. Together they shared many wonderful times together. She was a valued employee for the Thames Valley District School Board for 25 years. Karen had a wide circle of friends, including the Thursday Lunch Bunch and her aquatic swim buddies. She was also an active board member at Fairmont United Church and her seniors 55+ apartment building.
Friends and family will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. as well as 1 hour prior to the celebration of Karen's life which will be held in the Logan Chapel on Tuesday, January 17, at 12:00 p.m.
