I am sorry that I am out of the country at the moment and was unable to join in the service today. I was very fond of Al and have experienced him as a thoughtful and gentle man with grounded values. I have been thinking about you all in these days. I have attended church this past week at St. Gregory of Nyssa in San Francisco with its painted ceiling of contemporary saints dancing overhead with we worshippers below. I thought of my Dad begrudgingly draw into he dance, yet there nonetheless, last week and this week will think of Al. Shalom - Deep Peace to you all. Greg

Dear Grace: We were so sorry to hear of Al's passing. We have great memories of you and Al as part of our 9:15 family at church and, of course, as co-ordinators of the Fellowship Centre. He was a kind and gentle man and we will miss him. We are so sorry to miss the funeral today as we are in Eastern Ontario at our cottage, but we will be thinking of you. Lynn and Keith
