Diana and I were saddened ( and confused) this a.m. to read of Bus' passing. We thought that Bus had left us many years ago and I occasionally paused at the plaque in his honour in the garden outside the clubhouse at Maple Ridge . My trip up Memory Lane this a.m. includes such random images as him with his binocukars faithfully monitoring the course from the verandah, occasionally having to eject drinking golfers, ongoing chats with him and Bill on the porch with their bets re: the route of a storm approaching , his unique sense of humour , his love of golf and unique formats such as " Crazy Golf " and a close loving family whom Diana and I remember fondly . We regret not knowing that he in fact was alive all these years and not keeping in touch . Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am saddened by the news of Angus passing and wish the family the best over this difficult time. He was a good man who had a good life. May his life be a celebration to us all. Adam and I toasted to Angus tonight in Spain! Nice to have know you, Bus!
