Obituary of Pauline "Polly" Stokes

Peacefully at University Hospital, L.H.S.C., on Saturday, January 19, 2008, Pauline “Polly” Stokes in her 72nd year. Polly is Re-United in heaven with her husband Gordon Stokes (1987). Devoted mother of Michael (Sue) Stokes, Gwen (Terry) Wright, and Ted (fiancé Kim) Stokes. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Corey, Jamie and Kaylie Stokes, Terry Jr. and Jerry Wright, and Joe, Melissa, and Gord Stokes and great-grandmother of 4. Polly will be dearly missed by her brother Neil (Arlette) McKellar and sister Vivian (Howard) Keck. Survived by great friend Stacey. Predeceased by brother John McKellar. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East of Egerton St.), on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Aylmer Cemetery.
