Obituary of Stanley Skinner

After a long battle, on November 25, 2014, Stanley Skinner passed away at Strathroy Hospital, in his 89th year. He will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Audrey Skinner. Stanley leaves behind his daughters Pat (Gord) King and Sue (Brian) Noakes, and was predeceased by his son Stephen Skinner (2012). Grandpa will always be remembered by Karen, Boyd, Michael, Tamara, Jammie, and Charissa, and his great-grandchildren Greg, Travis, Alyssa, Julia, Nicole, and Lia. Stanley was a sports enthusiast, who deeply loved all of his dogs, especially Juicy. He was always interested in hearing about the lives of his family. Friends will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block East of Egerton), on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 29 at 11 am. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends who wish to make a donation in Stanley’s name are asked to consider the Ronald McDonald House or the London Humane Society.
