Obituary of Karen Laura Monahan

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at Victoria Hospital, L.H.S.C., on Saturday, December 22, 2007. Karen Laura Monahan (nee Williams) in her 53rd year. Loving wife of Alan and mother of Sarah & Hayley. Cherished daughter of Margaret & the late Vivian Williams. Daughter-in-law of Patricia Monahan & the late Richard Monahan. Dear sister of Peter (Reneè) Williams and sister-in-law of Valerie (Joseph) Grech, Caroline (Frank) Mamone, Derek Monahan, Sylvia (Mike) Watts & Louise (Todd) Bogart. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Karen worked for 30 years at Fanshawe College and was a longtime member of Fairmont United Church. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Graham Brownmiller, from Trinity United Church, officiating. Cremation to follow.
