Obituary of James "Jim" Barker

Peacefully, at Longworth Long Term Care Centre, on Monday, January 31, 2011, Jim passed away at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Muriel (Tuttle) (2003). Loving father of Marvin (Shirley) Tuttle of Calgary, Ruth ann (Jim) Curtis of Lucan & Gord Barker (Rose) of London. Beloved grandfather of Sandra, Brian, Ken, Rob, Pam, Cathy; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Jim worked many years & was a longtime supervisor at Hygrade Containers and C.I.P. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 10-11am. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
