Obituary of Marion Eliza Clipperton
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at University Hospital, on Thursday, September 12, 2013, Marion passed away in her 82nd year. Loving wife of the late Fred Clipperton (2010), for over 62 years, and mother of Rick, Larry (Ruth), Rose Elsie, Linda (Tony) Stride, Kevin (Bernie) all of London, Debbie (Frank) Alexander of Exeter and Karen (Randy) Stanlake of Hensall. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Laurie (Jack) Davis, Ed Fluskey & Bill Brown. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by grandson Steve, daughters-in-law Pat & Sue, son-in-law Doug Elsie, brothers Bill & Fred Fluskey, sisters-in-law Ruby Gloor, Dorothy Copeman and brothers-in-law Reginald, Wilfred & Walter.
Marion was a proud employee of Eaton’s Downtown London for many years.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4pm & Monday from 1-2pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Clipperton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB, Clipperton Cemetery or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
