Obituary of Lyndon Garfield MacBain

Peacefully, on Sunday, January 9, 2022, Lyndon MacBain passed away at the age of 88. Loving father of David (Vida) MacBain, Mark MacBain and Carolyn (John) Bagnall. Step father of Roger (Dorothy). Dear grandfather of Gwendolyn (Josh), Luke, Davida (Zak), Clayton, Spencer and Evan. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Jim, Anna, Audrey, Victor, Doris and Allister, first wife Barbara and second wife Irene. Lyndon will be fondly remembered for his open love of Christ and spreading the word of the Lord to others. The family would like to extend a special thank you to dear friend Glenna MacNeil and all the PSW’s, nurses, OT workers and those who provided care and support to Lyndon throughout the years. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Stoney Creek Baptist Church, 2225 Highbury Ave. N., London, Ontario on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario.
