Obituary of Kathleen May Pettitt

Peacefully, on Thursday, October 14, 2010, May Pettitt in her 81st year passed away at Victoria Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend for 61 years to Raymond. Dear mother of Lynda Davis and her husband Rick of Barrie, and Steven Pettitt and his wife Karan of London. Beloved grandmother to Lori Orr (Barry), Alicyn Pettitt and Jordan (Jude) Pettitt all of London. Dear nana to Gillian (2001), Isabel and Sophie Sashegyi. Predeceased by her sister Doreen Brownlee and brothers Phil and Bob Giles. Dear sister-in-law to Amy Davies, Sylvia Buan and Jim Pettitt. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), London, with visitation on Sunday, October 17 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Monday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Browning of Trinity United Church officiating. Interment in Zion Cemetery, 7th concession, Thamesford. Donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Bereaved Families of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
