Obituary of Thomas William James England

Suddenly, at Parkwood Hospital on Monday, April 22, 2013, Thomas William James England, of London, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Marie (Sabo) England for 58 years. Dear father of John (Betty) of London, Bill (Debbie) of Iona Station, Nanci O’Neal (Bob) of Mission, BC, and David (Holly) of Sombra. Survived by a sister Marion Griffin of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Tom will be fondly remembered by his family and his many friends. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Georgina England and daughter-in-law Christine Mould-England. Tom was an employee of 3M until his retirement in 1993. The family wishes to extend their thanks to doctors and nurses at LHSC and Parkwood Hospital for care given to Tom during his illness. Special thanks to Judy Sabo. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, April 26th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment in Woodland Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Tom may be made to the charity of your choice.
