Obituary of Helen Irene Mohring

After a brave and courageous battle with lung cancer, Helen Mohring passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, February 7, 2008, in her 74th year. Helen is predeceased by her husband Lorne, mother Vernetta and sister Evelyn (& her husband Jack). Helen will be sadly missed by children Rob, Dave, Janice (Lloyd); grandchildren Karen, Rob, Andy, Ian, Steven, Andrea, Kyle; great-grandchildren Stephanie, Justin, Zachary, Riley, Aaron, Jessica, June; sister Hazel (Doug) Barrett and friends Bonnie, Dayle & Wayne, Hilary & Mark, Joanne, Cathy, Penny and Pearl. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Family & friends are invited to Celebrate Helen’s Life at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, from 10-11am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Evans Chapel. Cremation with interment of ashes in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated by the family.
