Obituary of Margaret Leona Nightingale
After a short battle with cancer, at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Sunday April 17, 2005. Margaret Leona Nightingale (McEachern) in her 87th year. Loving wife of Art for over 61 years. Beloved sister of Florence Brown and Bill (Margaret) McEachern. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn Scott. Predeceased by sisters Isabel & Ethel, brothers Neil & Hugh, and brother-in-law Wallace Brown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marg graduated in 1940 from Guelph General Hospital, earning the Gold medal in surgical nursing, where she is a life member of the Hospital Alumni. She worked during WWII at Galt General Hospital before moving to Victoria Hospital, London. Marg & Art have been members of Trinity United Church since 1952. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday April 20, 2005, from 12-1 pm. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Browning, of Trinity United Church, officiating. Interment later in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
