Obituary of Donna Mary Pollard
On Thursday, March 3, 2022, Donna Mary Pollard (Nee Brown), in her 94th year, passed away, peacefully, at Kennsington Village Long Term Care, surrounded by her loving family. Donna’s long and difficult journey ended with all her children sharing time together and with her, a time that would have made her smile.
Donna is survived by her children, Peggy Moffat (Tom), Brenda Elner (Harry), David Pollard (Shirley) and Lyn Froggett (Ted). She was Nana to Christine, Doug, Michael, Matt, Jennifer, Amy, Scott, Tammy and Codie. Donna’s Great-Grandchildren include: Dominick, Jacob, Emmett, Avery, Taya, Sophia, Rachael, Violet, MacKenzie, Emma, Lincoln, Khloe, Paige, Tobi and Morgan. Donna is survived by her brother Leonard Brown (Hazel) and pre-deceased by her parents, John Thomas Brown (1990) and Alice Lillian Brown (1991).
The Pollard Family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Kennsington Village Long Term Care, who looked after our Mother since 2017, for their kind and compassionate and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre (244 Adelaide Street, South or online at www.gccrc.ca.) or to a charity of your choice.
Donna’s celebration of life will be held at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mask mandates are in place in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
