Obituary of Thelma Margaret Brereton
Peacefully at Elmwood Place, Nursing Home, on November 27, 2013, Thelma (Smith) Brereton passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest (2006), her husband of 66 years. Beloved mother of Margaret and husband Peter Carstensen of Georgia and Janet of London. Loving Nana to granddaughter Delanya and husband Mark, and great-Nana to Caleb and Emma Podgers all of Kingston.
Predeceased by grandson Tyson Carstensen (2001) of Kingston, brother Robert Smith (1990) and sister Irene Watkin (2007) of London.
Survived by her sister Tressa Esler of Michigan, brother Louie (Joan) Smith of Pickering, and sister-in-law Daphne Smith of Barrie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 12-2pm at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East of Egerton), with Funeral service celebrated at 2 pm by Rev. Teresa Corrigan.
Interment Woodland Cemetery.
