Obituary of George Winston Pollard

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness at University Hospital, on Friday, November 14, 2008, George Winston Pollard in his 68th year. Loving husband and best friend of Sandra of 46 years. Remembered by his beloved daughter Nicole. Fondly remembered by brother Wayne (Liz) Noble. Predeceased by parents Phillip Pollard and Jean Kirk, and his brother Richard. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. George worked for many years as a city taxi driver. A Memorial Service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
