Obituary of Adriana "Janie" Geertruida Dockstader

Passed away peacefully at Chartwell London Long Term Care Residence in the early hours of November 30, 2021 at the age of 97. Janie was predeceased by her husband Ramsey (1983), great grandson John (2019) & son David (2021). Loving mother of Winnie and her husband Bill Blane, Bill (Rainey) and his wife Noreen Dockstader and Mark Dockstader. Daughter in-law Kim Dockstader and foster son Ken Rae and his wife Leanne. Dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A proud war bride, Janie left her dad and sister in 1947 and moved to London. She loved her bi-weekly get togethers with her Dutch Girls group and was an active member of Grace United Church and the UCW for many years until the church closed its doors in 2014. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held on Friday, December 3. A special thank you goes out to the staff of Chartwell London for the care and support they gave to our mother. Donations to a charity of choice can be made in memory of Janie.
