My family and I are greatly saddened to hear of my uncles passing. We got to know both Lewis and Joan well over the past years and were delighted to be able to spend time with them at my parents home, as well as entertain them at ours. Uncle Lewis had lots of interesting stories to tell, with my favourite being the antics he and my Dad got up to while traveling, several years consecutively, through Newfoundland, with my Mom and Aunt Joan; memories we entertained again while visiting my Dad this past weekend as we checked in on him while my Mom visited her brother before his passing. My Dad relayed how he and Lew had talked about, when the time came, they would meet again on the Newfoundland Ferry to take them 'home'such a touching thought indeed. I will miss my Uncle, and send sincere condolences to my Aunt Joan and her Family.
