Obituary of Eugene "Junior" Blackwell

Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 10th, 2011, Eugene John "Junior" Blackwell in his 64th year. Loving husband of Janice of 20 years. Loving father of Darrell Smith, Cory and Derrick Blackwell and step-father of Edward, Angel and Tracey Charters. Devoted Poppa of 7 grandchildren. Always loved by his parents Eugene and Phyllis Blackwell. Deeply missed by his brothers and sisters Gail (Stuart) Stratton, Cherlye O’Neil, Larry, Bonnie (Ken) Burke, Kent, Starr (Roy) Henderson, Kelvin (Nancy), Jodee (John) Campbell and Darrell (Pauline). Predeceased by his sister Doreen and his brother-in-law Terry O’Neil. Cremation has taken place. At Junior’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. An Open house to celebrate Junior’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at the home of Janice and Junior’s between 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice will be acknowledged by the family.
