Obituary of Verna Doris Lama (Smith)

Peacefully, at Marian Villa, on Sunday October 30, 2005. Verna Doris Lama (Smith), of London, formerly of Carlisle, in her73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Lama. Loving mother of Carolyne Ciriello (the late Brian McCallum), the late Melody Joy Moore (May 2005), Christina Kellestine, Barbara Webster, John (Carol-Anne) Lama, and Bill (Tina) Lama. Dear sister of Shirley (Mike) Van Horne, Vera Barker and the late Bert Smith. Lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Thursday November 3, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. with The Rev'd Janet Hatt officiating. Interment in Carlisle Cemetery.
