Obituary of Woody Smith

After a courageous battle with cancer, at his residence surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 8th, 2011, Woody (Edward) Smith in his 52nd year. Loving father of Michelle (Shawn), Darren (Kristie) and Mike (Carlie). Proud Grandfather of Mason and Jaxon. Dear friend of Mary Ann Burleigh. Always remembered by his brothers and sisters Doug (Diane), Donna (Bruce), Wendy (Ross), Joe (Louanne), Linda, Edna, Rosie (Jim) and Penny (Alvin). Predeceased by his parents Mike and Nevy Smith and brothers Mick & Kenny. Woody will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Strict orders from Woody: Please come casually dressed. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, April 13th, 2011. Cremation to follow. Donations to a children’s charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
