Obituary of Jean Mildred Desand

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Jack (1990), sister Anna Wilson and brothers Hugh & Alan Dunham. She will be greatly missed by her sons Jim (Susan) & Doug (Barb) Desand. Loving grandmother to Michael & Angela Desand, Debra (Bob) Jones, Steven (Sue) Desand and great-grandmother to Rob, Cody, Kaitlynne Jones and Matthew Desand. She will be remembered by her brother Don Dunham, sisters Mary Campbell, Elsie Witworth, Sandra Piper, Betty Barker, sister-in-law Sharon Dunham and their families. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday, from 12-1pm. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment later in Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
