Obituary of Rose Adeline Martin

Peacefully at Mount Hope Centre – Marian Villa on Monday, February 20, 2012, Rose Adeline Martin, of London, just short of her 102nd birthday. Loving wife of the late John Robert Martin (1974). Cherished mother of Shirley and her late husband Stan Peach; and Margaret and her husband Roger F. Gardiner. Dearest Gran of Steven Hull Peach. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Mary Pearce and her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all former care givers and residents of Trafalgar Terrance who showed compassion and kindness to Rose during her residence there. Our thanks also to the 2nd floor staff at Marian Villa who showed warm sympathy and support to Rose and her family over these last few months. A funeral service will be held at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1block east of Egerton St.) on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society will be acknowledged by the family.
