Obituary of Alice Hilda Hardcastle
Following a yearlong battle, after an incredible life, Alice Hardcastle (nee Ashford) passed away at Parkwood Hospital on January 19, 2022 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her only love, Fred Hardcastle in 1990, and her son Tom (2010).
Alice leaves behind her children Gladys (Paul) Baxter, Frank Hardcastle and Fred (Jen) Hardcastle, her grandkids and great grandkids Kyle, Cody, Alice, John, Chelsea, Shannon, Mason, Liane and Melanie, and her sisters Florence and Hope. Predeceased by her brother Bob Ashford.
Alice was involved with Tops of London for over 40 years and organized the 50/50 draw at Klondike Trailer Park in Grand Bend for many years.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario.
