Obituary of Ernest Mac' Clellian McIntyre
"A true gentleman to the end", Ernest 'Mac' Clellian McIntyre, in his 94th year, passed away at Trafalgar Terrace, on Thursday, June 22, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Chapman) (1988). Predeceased by his sisters Marjorie & Leelaval, and brothers Fred, Earl & Lloydd. Also predeceased by his nephew & best friend Donald Laing (2004). Mac is survived by many nieces & nephews and will be missed by all the staff & residents of Trafalgar Terrace. Mac was a retired longtime employee of Labatt Brewery. A thank you to Mrs. Barbara Smith (niece) for all the caring & kindness over the years. Thank you to Trafalgar Terrace Retirement Home for all the care you have given to Mac and to the V.O.N. for their help and care. Cremation has taken place. A graveside interment of ashes service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive (please meet at the office, inside the gates, to the right), on Saturday, July 15, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Victor Krueger-Kischak, of E.L.A.M. (East London Anglican Ministries), officiating. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
