Obituary of "Betty" Elizabeth Finlayson Gibson

Peacefully, at Meadow Park Nursing Home, on Sunday, October 1, 2006, “Betty” Elizabeth Finlayson Gibson passed away in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Gibson (1982). Mother of James, Duncan & Fiona. Grandmother of Ian, Fraser, Stewart, Matthew, Megan & Katie. Betty & Duncan were longtime organizers for the Clan Douglas Pipe Band and Betty worked many years for the Catholic School Board. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gail Schnarr officiating.
