Obituary of George Edward Layton

At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2006, George Edward Layton of London, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Helena (Schaus) Layton. Loving father of Patricia Jones and her husband Derek of Pointe Claire, Quebec and chosen father of Nancy Cork and her husband Ken of North Bay. Dearly loved by two grandchildren Adrian Jones and Joseph Brock. Predeceased by two sisters Gertrude Hedden and Muriel Kipp. A memorial service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (Between Waterloo and Colbourne St.) on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 12 noon with Pastor James Garey officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Charity of your choice.
