Obituary of Frederick E. (Fred) Hicks
Peacefully, at Strathroy General Hospital with his loving wife at his side, Frederick (Fred) E. Hicks of Corbett in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Nathalie (Hutchinson) Hicks. Loving father of Diane & Morley Fraser of Mt. Brydges, Rosalie & Jim Squires of London, Barry Hicks of Thedford, Bryan & Mary Hicks of Corbett, Wendy & Glenn Dixon of Denfield and Cindy & Wayne Ireland of London. Loving grandfather of Jody & Dave Berdan, Jeff Fraser, Kristin Thatcher & Dave Kordus, Jennifer Squires & Mike Cholubko and Stephanie Squires, Andrew Hicks & Lisa Tamblyn and Julie Hicks & Troy Stellingwerf, Robb Dixon & Nicole Parker and Brad Dixon, Travis and Dayna Hicks, Kyle Ireland, Kelly and Marque Aitken, Lori and Sara Ireland. Loving great grandfather of Connor, Kaeliegh, Fraser, Kieran, Braeden, Alexandra, Seth, Sean, Kaitlyn and Austin. Dear father-in-law of Helen Hicks. Dear brother of Lois & Ollie Desjardine of Guelph, Ollie and Murray Maguire and dear brother-in-law of Doris Hicks. Predeceased by brothers William Hicks and Stuart Hicks & his wife Edith and sister & brother-in-law Viola & Jack Scott. Fred will be sadly missed by his best friend Toby. A private family service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne) on Friday, October 27, 2006 with Rev. Harry Disher of Greenway United Church officiating.
