Obituary of Manuel Antonio Soares

Peacefully, with his beloved wife Popi Soares by his side at McGarrell Place on Friday, March 20, 2020, Manuel Soares went to be with his beloved son Joseph Soares at the age of 82. Loving husband of Popi Soares. Dear father of the late Joseph Soares. Fondly remembered by sister Poreza Soares. Brother in law of Matoula Lygoura and Georgia Tsakos. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Manuel was born in Melgaco, Portugal in 1937. He arrived to Canada in 1964. Manuel worked for Ford for many years as devoted employee. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McGarrell Place for their outstanding compassionate care and support. A private funeral service has taken place. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society in memory of Manuel.
