Obituary of Ermias Samson Mulat

Ermias Samson Mulat, also affectionately called Twizz, was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on June 23, 1979. He was 40 years old when he unexpectedly passed away on Friday April 17, 2020. He was residing in the Whitehills area of London, Ontario. Ermias went to Wilfred Jury Public School and Sir Fredrick Banting Secondary School where he forged many relationships that stood the test of time. Ermias was known by many and loved by all. Ermias had a love for nature, the outdoors, and was on a path to enlightenment. He has an infectious laugh and a joyous spirit that left a mark wherever he went. Ermias had a loyal spirit and loved those around him fiercely. Ermias is survived by his parents Samson Mulat (Tigest Hali); Fanaye Abera; His grandmother Zenebech Kebede------/Talem; His sons Ermias (Shawty), Noah and Kahvontay; His loving sisters Rebecca, Leah and Lydia; his love Samantha; and many close family and friends near and far. Ermias kept a journal a great deal throughout his lifetime, two of his passages are as follows; "Be in the present moment don’t lose yourself in the past. Don’t lose yourself in the future you only have today so make it count. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow hasn’t arrived enjoy this moment for what it is." "I am NATURE where the truth LIVES with feelings that flow like the river. Where one rests in the dark with the MOON; but rises and shines with everything like the SUN. ALL IS ONE AND ONE IS ALL." A private service will be held at a later date. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario. Those who wish may make memorial donations to a charity of choice in memory of Ermias.
