Obituary of Betty Lorraine Robblee
Betty Lorraine Robblee (nee Willsie)
After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, our mother Betty Robblee, passed away on March 6 2021 at her residence in Henley Place Long Term Care.
Mom was born in Aylmer Ontario on June 30 1930 to Harold and Mazie Willsie. She moved to London where she met Victor Robblee when he was a boarder at her mother’s house. They married on July 1st 1948, the day after she turned 18. Together they raised 3 children, Bob (Denise), Vicki Daley and Steve (Tracey). Mom’s family has since expanded to include 7 grandchildren and 10 great grand children. She is also survived by her sister Linda Maudsly (Jim) and stepbrother Ray Johnson (Isabelle).
Mom was a woman who went about her life with a quiet dignity. Always positive and without complaint, she accepted whatever came her way. She was the constant anchor for her family. Her decline over the last several years was difficult for all. We know she is now in a much better place. A special thanks to all the staff at Henley Place, Springbank unit for the genuine caring and attention they showed to mom.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Those wishing to remember her with a donation should consider Alzheimer’s and Dementia charities. Arrangements entrusted to EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 519-451-9350. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
