Obituary of Arthur Dennis Finnis

Peacefully, with family by his side, at Parkwood Hospital, on Tuesday, September, 12, 2006, Arthur Dennis Finnis in his 84th year. Loving husband of Iris, and father of Dave (Maria) & Jeff (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Robbie, Michael, Tina, Nicole & Shaina. Dear brother of Ron, Harry, Norman and the late Robert & Aubrei, and their families, all of England. Also remembered by the Chaney, Hollingsworth, Goodwin & Busby families and many others. Den was a longtime employee of 3M, 1984 Past Master of Tuscan Lodge A.F.& A.M., served with the Royal Navy in WWII, and was Mentioned in Dispatches and awarded the Oak Leaf. Den was also a very active volunteer with the Salvation Army & other organizations. A Memorial Service to celebrate Den’s Life will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday, September 15, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation from 10-11am) with Major Larry Bridger, from London Hillcrest Salvation Army, officiating.
