Obituary of Russell Gebbie

Unexpectedly but peacefully, at home on Monday, March 1, 2021, Russell Gebbie passed away at the age of 66. Loving father of Lisa Gebbie and the late Scott (2016). Beloved grandfather of Abigail & Samuel. Deeply missed by Russell’s fiancée Roberta Lane and her children Casey (Natalie) and Nicole. Dear brother of Janet and Hugh (Sue). Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents James & Janet Gebbie. Russell was born and raised in Scotland and moved to Canada in 1974. Russell worked for the city of London as part of Greenway for a number of years and will be fondly remembered playing darts as # 26 and his countless hours on the golf course. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life and dart tournament in memory of Russell will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Russell.
