I know that they cannot be mine, I stumble when I try. As I continue on the way, My heart leaps up inside. For I am up upon His shoulders. It is He that sets the stride. It is not my place to ascertain, How long this trip might be. I am happy in the knowledge of, “My Closer Walk With Thee”. And should this journey endeth, And I face my final rest. With joy and hope, not sadness, I have given it my best. written by: Stephen R. Curtis
